Pediatric Practice Oversight Reporting with PCC
You can use PCC reports to identify problem areas in your A/R, review collections, and evaluate your growth as a practice. Run Reports in the PCC EHR Report Library
The Report Library in PCC EHR is an expanding suite of reports designed to give you useful and meaningful access to information in the EHR.Practice Vitals Dashboard Overview
The Practice Vitals Dashboard is a tool for tracking and reporting your practice's financial and clinical health based on relative performance in a variety of areas. The dashboards provide a series of graphs along with reports and other statistical data to help you evaluate and improve your revenue, coding, clinical benchmarks, claims, and practice productivity.Your Financial and Clinical Pulse Scores in the Dashboard
The Financial and Clinical Pulse pages in your Practice Vitals Dashboard display a detailed explanation of your practice's overall health. The colored gauge on the front page gives you an at-a-glance idea of how your practice is doing compared to national metrics.Log In and Review Your Practice Vitals Dashboard
Follow the procedure below to log in to your practice's dashboard and review your benchmarks and other data.- The EDI Dashboard shows you detailed totals for your practice's claim activity. You can see total claims, amount billed, and amount rejected or accepted by the claim clearinghouse and payor. You can use the EDI Dashboard to evaluate your claim volume (for both electronic and paper claims) and rejection rates for individual payers.
- The Productivity Dashboard reports on visits and RVU totals, per provider or per location. You can track visit trends over time, and examine activity for a specific physician.
Review Individual Dashboard Measures
Click on any dashboard measure from your Practice Vitals Dashboard to see more details.- The Patient Population dashboard displays a dynamic age distribution graph.
- The Patient Visit Summary is an "end-of-visit" clinical summary report. It details everything that happened during an appointment. The report also includes an overview of other patient medical information. You can also customize what appears on the report and configure special components which will include patient instructions and other information.
Find and Share Patient Education and Handouts
PCC EHR has built-in access to two libraries of patient education resources. The AAP’s Pediatric Patient Education library and the NLM’s MedlinePlus library give you instant access to handouts and current medical information on a wide range of topics.Phone Encounter Performance Report
You can use the Phone Encounter Performance report to track phone note response time, report on phone tasks, and gather data for PCMH purposes.Health Information Summary Report
You can generate a paper or electronic copy of a patient's health record with the Health Information Summary Report.- PCC EHR can create lists of patients based on complex criteria. You can save those criteria as special reports that you can re-run at any time.
Get Started with Direct Secure Messaging
PCC EHR includes Direct Secure Messaging. Direct Secure Messaging is a communication technology for the transmission and exchange of private health information. Your practice can use Direct Secure Messaging for transitions of care, and patient portal users can use Direct Secure Messaging to send their visit information to other medical practitioners.- The Summary of Care Record report produces a C-CDA-formatted chart summary for a patient. Your practice can use the report as a transition of care document. Optionally, if your practice uses Direct Secure Messaging, you can transmit the report to another clinician or practice.
Review Your PCMH Measures and Performance on a Dashboard
The PCMH dashboard page contains all of the PCC Practice Vitals Dashboard measures that relate to NCQA's 2014 PCMH standards. This page can be used to monitor your performance toward meeting specific elements and factors. You can also print this page to share the data with staff and providers and for submission to NCQA as part of your application for PCMH recogntion.- You can run the Vaccine Lot report in PCC EHR, to identify all patients who received a particular vaccine within a date range.
