In this session we will explore concepts and tools you can use when you are in conflict – with both the people you serve and those with whom you work. This session is a blend of practical information and practice. We will explore what conflict is, the difference between assertive and aggressive behavior, somatic awareness, and tools. We will also spend some time in role playing scenarios so you leave with more than knowledge. We want you to leave the session having learned and practiced tools that will support you the next time you find yourself heading into conflict. We will have fact-based fictitious scenarios available for role playing, but please feel free to bring your own real life dilemmas. We will also review one very effective way to let someone go when that becomes the only reasonable thing to do.

| Strengthening Your Systems and Structures – Blueprint for a Scalable, Stress-Less Pediatric Practice | Growth in pediatric practices does not have to lead to burnout, chaos, or constant firefighting. In most cases, stress is not necessarily caused by growth itself but by weak systems and unclear organizational structures. This session helps pediatric practice owners reframe scaling as a systems challenge rather than a people problem. Participants will explore the core systems required to build a scalable, stress-less pediatric practice, including clinical flow, role clarity, operational standardization, financial awareness, and leadership development. Emphasis will be on leadership development and establishing / strengthening systems and structures. Using real-world pediatric practice examples, this presentation provides a practical framework for moving from owner-dependent operations to system-driven performance. Attendees will learn how to identify hidden bottlenecks, reduce operational strain, and create consistency without micromanagement. | The Predictable Practice – Using Leading Metrics to Forecast Your Future | If you only look at your bank balance or monthly collections, you’re managing your practice by looking in the rearview mirror. While those numbers tell you where you’ve been, they can’t tell you what’s coming next month. To truly lead, you need “Leading Metrics”—predictive data points that signal future success or trouble. In this session, we will identify the specific activities that forecast practice health. We’ll explore how simple indicators (like the number of recall texts sent or phone call volume) directly predict your future schedule and revenue.
