You can use recaller to find and contact a subset of your patient population. Running recaller works the same way regardless of your goal. Follow the procedure below.
Performing a Recall
Run the Recaller
You can run recaller from the Patient/Account Reports window or by typing recaller at a command prompt.

Select Criteria to Limit the Results
Mark off each criteria you wish to use for the recall. For example, if you wish to see all patients who visited the practice in the past six months and have ever had an asthma diagnosis, you would mark the "Patient Last Visit Date" criteria and the "Include by Diagnosis" criteria, as shown:

Press [F1 -- Generate Report] to continue.
Skip This Step: If you do not mark any criteria, and press F1, the Recaller will continue to the next step with all patients and families included in the output.
Enter Criteria Details
For each criteria item you selected, recaller will show you a screen or series of screens to focus the criteria details. In the sample shown below, the Recaller needs to know the date range for the patient's last visit.

Since there will be at least one criteria detail screen for each criteria item, you may have to answer several questions. See the other Recaller examples or the Criteria Reference in this manual for more details.
Review Criteria Selections
After you have selected all the criteria details, the Recaller will display the Criteria Listing summary screen.

If you need to return to the home screen and add additional criteria, press F12. Press [F1 -- Generate] to continue.
Select Output Options
On the Formatter screen, the total numbers of patients and families found appear at the top. Select whether you wish to produce a Standard List, a Form Letter or custom list, or a Mailing Label. You can produce one entry or item for each Patient, Guarantor, or Custodian.

After making your output selections, select a "Sort By" option and a "Destination" option. For more information about the output options, read the Formatter Reference section in this manual.
Press [F1 -- Generate] to continue.
Review Results, Optionally Select New Output
The default output is a patient call-back list, with custodian information, on the screen:

Press F12 to return to the Formatter and select a different output. Press F12 twice to return to the criteria screen and add or change recall criteria.
