Reminding patients and families about their physicals is good for your patients and good for your practice. The Recaller can produce phone lists, form letters, and mailing labels for patients who are overdue for a physical or have a physical due date coming up soon.
A Physical Recall
Select Criteria
Your practice may have its own criteria for a physical recall. PCC recommends the following criteria:

Press [F1 -- Generate Report]
When you press F1, Partner will begin to ask you questions about each of the criteria you selected.
Choose a Last Visit Date
Enter a date of last visit. Use this criteria to limit your recall to active patients, those who have visited your office within the past few years.

Enter Date Range for Physical Due
Enter a date range for the patients' physical due date. If you wish to see all patients who are overdue for their physical, you could include a date range from several years ago to the present.

Exclude by Patient and Account Flags
Select status flags that will knock the patient or family off of your recall list. For both patient and account flags, you must first mark the flags from the list and then indicate that any one of the flags should cause recaller to exclude them.

Exclude Patients with Upcoming Appointments
The final three criteria screens will allow you to exclude patients who have an upcoming visit on your Partner schedule. Since your providers will likely talk to the family about scheduled well visits during any appointment, it is easiest to exclude all visit types for any provider for the next several months.

Review Criteria
On the Criteria Listing screen, review the criteria you entered. If you need to make changes, press F12 to return to the first criteria screen and use F1 to review and edit each criteria screen.

Press [F1 -- Generate] to continue.
Select Output
Use the Formatter screen to select how you will use the list of found patients and families. For each patient or family, you can produce a simple list (with phone numbers) print a form letter or custom list, or generate mailing labels.

For more information about the Formatter or selecting criteria, see the other sections of this manual.
