5. Conclusion

For most situations, the only claim identifiers your practice needs are those found in the Providers table in the Table Editor (ted). When your practice needs to assign a supervising provider, use the billing provider field in the Charge Posting (chuck) program or assign one later in the Correct Mistakes (oops) program. When you have more difficult claim configuration needs, use the Provider IDs (provids) program to set an alternate provider or enter custom, override values for any claim identifier.
