What will PCC do with you when you call?
We will add the machine to your network. In most PCC offices, this means adding an entry to the list of machines that is kept on the Partner server which runs your network. If your network is operated by a hospital or external entity, you may need to make arrangements with them. We can help you figure that out.
We will also add entries to your Linux Terminal Server setup that tell the server about the printer you've plugged into the workstation. At the same time, we'll set up log in functions so the correct printer will be chosen when you are printing Partner documents.
Finally, we'll walk you through turning on and logging into your new workstation. If you are converting a PC, we may need to walk you through a few more changes to your PC so it knows it should boot up as a networked workstation. If there are any problems with the video or the network booting, we will work with you to resolve them.
