3. AniTa: Changing Your Partner Window Length and Width

To increase the number of rows or columns in your AniTa screen, do the following:

  1. In the menus at the top of your screen, choose Config->Terminal Emulation...

  2. You will be shown a window with lots of terminal options. In the example below, the columns are set to 80 and the rows are set to 30. For columns, you can switch between 80 and 132. For rows, you can enter any number or select one of the default window sizes. Note that more than 35 rows might force the letters to be too small to read.

  3. Click "Ok" to exit the window. Your window size will adjust immediately. You may need to press [F12] to quit your current program and redraw your screen.

Font size is automatically adjusted in AniTa. If you view AniTa in full screen mode, the font size will automatically adjust to fit your screen. If you view the screen in window mode, then changing the screen size by dragging the lower right-hand corner grow box will automatically adjust the font.

For more information about adjusting AniTa to fit your needs, see: Using AniTa with Partner.

  4. Once you have found the perfect number of rows and columns for your screen, you should save your settings. Click on File and select Save Config. If you log out before saving, you will be asked whether or not you wish to save your new window size.
